My fitness journey has started how a lot of people’s journeys do. As a kid, I grew up being overweight and borderline obese. When I got out of high school, I began to go to a local gym and went through the normal routine of lifting weights and doing a little bit of cardio.I was always on and off with it because it never quite caught my interest and I never got the results I wanted. I always felt like I couldn’t progress because something was missing…
When I found Crossfit in January of 2013, I immediately fell in love. Setting pr’s, competing with friends, getting stronger, and becoming a healthier person became addicting. Looking back, I am so happy that I made the decision to give Crossfit a shot. It has truly changed my life for the better.
Since my first day in Crossfit, I knew I wanted to be a coach. I started getting more enjoyment out of other people setting pr’s than my own. I love the thought of getting a person better results due to a tip, or getting that one last rep during a workout because I helped push them through it. Being a coach is my passion and I strive to get better every day.
